SINGAPORE’S AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH ADMINISTRATOR OF THE PANAMA MARITIME AUTHORITY

Panama, August 14.

The Ambassador of Singapore in Panama, Mrs. Mary Seet-Cheng, met with the Administrator of the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA), Mr. Jorge Barakat Pitty, with whom she discussed issues of bilateral interest.

These visits are important for the PMA, because they show the interest of countries like Singapore in the work that is developed in Panama, namely regarding the logistics in the maritime sector.

The Ambassador expressed to the Administrator the interest that her country has in a continued exchange of information with Panama regarding maritime matters and the intention to continue investing in this country. The meeting, was also attended by the Secretary General of the PMA, Mr. Tomás Ávila.
