Panama, February 17, 2014.

With the traditional ribbon-cutting, by the Economy vice Minister, Mrs. Gladys Cedeño Urrutia, and the PAN (Help National Programmed) Executive Director, Mr. Rafael Guardia, Inaugurated the Panama Maritime Authority stand in the Forty Third Veraguas Fair Version, base in Sona.

The activity was attended by the PMA Provincial Coordinator in Veraguas, Mr. Jaime Velarde, the Vidal Port Administrator Mrs. María Urieta, the Public Relations Director; Mr. Valerio Abrego Jimenez with the concurrence of local’s visitor assistance and the institution employees.

The opening was livened with the Professor Edgardo Ábrego participation, who delighted the audience with some music pieces.

Many people approach the PMA stand to request specific information about the Maritime High School, Academic and Labor opportunities that exists in this sector. There were offered brochures with material information about the services provided by the institution, and in addition, there were offered promotional material issue, which was the attendee’s preference.

The Industrial, farming, tourism and craft Veraguas Fair, is one of the most popular events of this region and offered several facilities and entertainment that combine the cultural success of this important exhibition, which benefits the entire population, from small artisans and merchants who provide services such as food and lodging, to large companies that are present at this event. The inauguration was conducted by the Republic of Panama President, Mr. Ricardo Martinelli, in company of others national and regional authorities.

Until February 23, domestic and overseas can enjoy all Veraguas attractions  in this fair which offers typical dances, display stands, institutional and business, tie competitions, rides, local style rhymes , night of disco, handcraft  commercial and agricultural products and many other amenities.
