With the attendance of its Administrator, Mr. Jorge Barakat Pitty, the Panama Maritime Authority (PMA) opened its official stand at the International Fair China Maritime 2015. China Maritime is an Offshore Engineering Technology & Equipment Exhibition, which takes place in Beijing, from March 26 to 28.

The PMA aims to take advantage of this exhibition platform of international prestige, in order to promote the advantages and excellence of the worldwide leader in ship registry.  This stand is also a showcase to exhibit Panama as one of the leading countries in port activities and cargo movement. The PMA is an entity that stays at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies with the aim of maintaining high standards of efficiency and reliability. Furthermore, it takes up the challenge of transforming Panama into a platform and logistics center world-renowned. In this regard, the PMA makes headway with steady steps.

The participation of companies and institutions of great renown and the presence of the leading shipowners companies, make of China Maritime 2015 a highly qualified scenario to display the latest technologies and products of the offshore engineering industry.
Based on “the international vision of Beijing,” all this together will help the exhibitors as means to explore new business opportunities both in China and in the rest of the world.

Taking into account the significance of this important showcase, the stand of the PMA, will be open during the whole fair to all the visitors that attend the fifth edition of this outstanding event. This will allow them to satisfy their curiosity about the country and about the institution with the largest ship registry in the world. In such way, they will get acquainted with other advantages offered by this maritime entity.

Participating in this fair is for the Panama Maritime Authority an important approach to explore the market of this Asian country.  Through this international staging, the PMA will promote an increased volume of business with China.
